During his younger years growing up in Vallejo, Vincent was exposed early to the criminal justice system by way of the crime in his own neighborhood which sparked his interest in pursuing law. He went on to graduate in Criminology from Fresno State University in 1995, and then earned his law degree from Empire Law School in 1999. He won his first-ever jury trial in a Three Strikes case less than a year after becoming a lawyer. During the course of his career, Mr. Maher has tried over 100 jury trials.
