DVSupport AI Summary:

Bachara & Essey is a law firm dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized legal services to North Carolina residents, particularly in family law and other key practice areas. The firm’s approach emphasizes understanding and supporting clients through difficult times, which is especially important for survivors of domestic violence. Their experienced attorneys, Mark Bachara and Gina Essey, are committed to addressing sensitive matters such as divorce, child custody, and spousal support, ensuring that clients feel heard and their needs are prioritized. The firm adopts a trauma-informed tone, recognizing the emotional and psychological impacts that legal issues can have on individuals who may have experienced abuse or trauma. They work closely with clients, offering guidance and adapting legal strategies to align with each person's unique circumstances and goals. This personalized attention aims to create an environment where clients feel safe and supported, making it easier to discuss their concerns openly. While Bachara & Essey has a broad spectrum of services, including estate planning and criminal defense, their strong focus on family law may make them particularly suitable for survivors seeking help with custody arrangements or protective orders. They strive to ensure that all aspects of a client’s case are handled with care and professionalism, providing a comprehensive approach throughout the legal process. If you are a survivor of domestic violence navigating legal challenges, this firm may be a good fit for your needs. Their empathetic approach and commitment to client care can help you feel more secure as you work towards a resolution in your case. However, if your primary focus is solely on domestic violence issues, it might be beneficial to inquire specifically about their experiences in that area to ensure you receive the support required.

"I strongly advise against using Bachara Law Firm. My experience with them was disappointing, as I felt they showed little concern for their clients. I recently sought their help regarding a traffic violation, and despite clearly stating my disagreement with the ticket, their representative informed me that they don’t dispute charges—something I thought was a fundamental part of a lawyer's role. I even took the initiative to review the video evidence at the precinct, which clearly demonstrated that no violation had occurred. Instead of advocating for me, they suggested I take a driving course without providing a satisfactory explanation. Overall, I cannot recommend this law firm based on my experience."

"This firm is who my mother-in-law used for her end-of-life documents and to modify her house deed to give her sons ownership of her home with her having life rights. Well, they messed up and did the deed wrong (gave the sons life rights and kept her as owner). The error wasn't found until after she passed. Also, the living will they prepared was difficult and frustrating to execute. It was too simple and had grey area, which is not something you want when you are making medical decisions on behalf of an unconscious loved one. Even the medical staff told us it wasn't completely clear, so we had to do our best to implement her wishes. It made me realize what verbiage to include in my own documents."
