Negative life experiences not only affect a person individually, but relationally as well. Survivors can begin to experience issues with trust, communication and closeness that often create a pattern of distancing in order to avoid conflict. From my years of training and experience, both personally and professionally, I believe in the power of reconnecting with the self and others to heal.
