Hi there! My name is Michele Brown, and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I work with adults and specialize in treating addiction and trauma. The work I do is very rewarding in that I see such growth in my clients, and those "A-ha moments" I have the opportunity to witness are so gratifying. I use trauma-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and evidence-based approaches (Matrix, Seeking Safety) with my clients that explore the connection between past trauma and current unhealthy coping skills that are being used to manage unpleasant and overwhelming emotions.
