People turn to me when they're wrestling with deep, painful conflict, even if that conflict is within themselves. I tend to focus on interrelationships. This includes couples (together, apart or considering separation), step-families, and parents & adult children. Clients often have some commonalities when they reach out, including feeling trapped in Groundhog Day-level fights with loved ones. Or they're sweeping their needs under the rug to tend to everyone else. Or they're contemplating divorce or estrangement because the tension feels unbearable. Or they're tired of acting in ways that don't align with who they really are.
