I specialize in the treatment of trauma related disorders, and I approach the treatment of trauma as a chronic illness to help my clients confront it's lasting impacts with compassion. This process gives us a chance to understand what we adapted to, how we adapted, and how that is showing up in life in the present. That understanding gives us more freedom to notice ourselves with less judgment. From there we can make more sense of confusing or conflicting feelings, and build a more grounded sense of who we are to navigate our relationships in a way that heals us as we go. I work with adults, parents, families, and teenagers.
