It is my great pleasure to work as a Clinical Counsellor for the last 20 years. I have a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. There are many different modalities used in counselling. I primarily use Narrative Therapy and Non-Violent Communication. These approaches to clinical work are collaborative and strength-based approaches that view people as experts in their own lives, instead of viewing them from an expert-center position. My experience has shown me that people feel more in control of their own lives and are self-determining when they play a central role in their counselling.
