I specialize in working with adults who are facing a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger, or other post-trauma reactions, and emphasize working with members of the military and veteran communities in my practice. I also enjoy working with individuals who struggle with managing difficult emotions and are interested in building their 'emotional intelligence,' including learning how to name, express, and cope with emotions in effective and authentic ways. I use a targeted, active, and evidence-based approach to treatment, and also value the use of humor and transparency in the therapeutic process.
